3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Service. The types of cookies we use are:
- Essential cookies: these are required for the Service to function properly, including session management, authentication, and security. These cookies cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies: we use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the Service. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect aggregated, anonymized usage data such as pages visited, session duration, and feature usage. This data helps us improve the Service.
You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. Please note that disabling essential cookies may prevent the Service from functioning correctly.
Google Analytics may transfer data to servers in the United States. For more information on how Google processes data, please visit Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers: we share information with trusted third-party providers who assist us in operating the Service, including Stripe for payment processing and Google Analytics for usage analytics. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and may only use it to perform services on our behalf.
- Legal requirements: we may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights or safety, prevent fraud, or respond to a government request.
- Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
- With your consent: we may share your information for purposes not described in this Privacy Policy if we have obtained your explicit consent to do so.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account termination, we retain your data for a period of thirty (30) days to allow for data export, after which it is scheduled for deletion.
We may retain certain information for longer periods where required by law, for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing our agreements), or where deletion is not technically feasible. Aggregated or anonymized data that can no longer identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytical purposes.
7. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL and at rest using industry-standard encryption.
- Role-based access controls limiting employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis.
- Regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
